The Troublesome Process of Web Design
The Dark Eternity, although far from completion and publication, is worth the wait. It will render the Gorillaz X Project as you know it an obsolete design. Filled with multiple colors, interesting graphics, several different divisions, and (get this) music that will automatically play in your browser, the Dark Eternity is far more sophisticated than anything you can get with a template design.
However, sophistication and modernism come at a high price...hard work, concentration, and effort. I have completely abandoned all thoughts of shortcuts and prepared my self for the long journey down the road of web design. Creating page after page, taking month after month, and procrastinating hour after hour, I am slowly progressing and so is the Dark Eternity project.
Okay, now that I've made a well-rounded introduction, here's the list of divisions of the Dark Eternity project.
1) Gorillaz X Project (GXP)
2) White Lightning Duelist Realm (Yu-Gi-Oh site)
3) Shady Star (a website graphics set supplier site)
4) Lady Sniper Graphix (a more sophisticated, special-order FREE graphics site)
5) Comrade Gorillaz Graphics (the same as LSG [above] but catering only to Gorillaz fans)
Also, the GXP story site http://hometown.aol.com/snipercmm/index.html will be given a drastic make-over sometime soon (way before the Dark Eternity is published). Next week, I will have some time to make more updates and work on more site design. Until then, however, just hang on to what's there.
I am working on part 2 of chapter 1 for the GXP story "The Game Of Death." I hope to have it published online sometime this or next week. That is, if I can finish it by then. If you are ready for the next section, or if you have just now decided to read the first of many stories of the GXP, please note that there will be some sections in part 2, chapter 1 that give excerpts in points of view of certain characters' journals. Characters to expect may include (but are subject to change from) Shady, Sniper, Pyro, and Bootz. If I use Bootz in part 2, it will be in a clever introduction for her character.
Speaking of characters, another thing to expect when the Dark Eternity is published is a well-planned character biographies section for the GXP characters ONLY. How's that?
Well, I guess I better go before I bore everybody to death on the first entry. (Is that possible?)
